The short version: We don't store your personality data in a database. Your assessment results live in your browser session. Share links encode your data in the URL itself — no server lookup needed. If you give us your email, we'll only use it for your report and our newsletter. That's it.
Depth Profile is a personality assessment tool. You answer questions, we compute scores and generate a report. Simple.
We built this with a clear principle: your personality data is yours. We don't build profiles on you, we don't sell your data, and we don't store your assessment results in any database.
This document explains exactly what we do and don't collect, and why.
Here's what we actually collect:
This is the part that matters most for a personality tool:
Assessment data stays in your browser session. When you close the tab, it's gone unless you saved your share link.
Share links are designed to require zero database lookups. Your results are encoded directly into the URL using URL-safe base64 encoding.
When someone opens your share link, their browser decodes the results from the URL itself — no server call, no database query. The data lives in the link.
This means: if you share your results, anyone with the link can view them. If you don't share, no one can.
Depth Profile uses the following third-party services:
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising-related third-party tools.
Because we don't store your assessment data, most traditional "right to erasure" requests don't apply — there's nothing to delete on our end.
